So a few days ago I undid my braids and this is what my hair looked like. I was a bit frustrated because of the length. I mean it's been a year and I was expecting it to be a bit longer. But I went for a blow-out yesterday and it's way longer than this. Long enough for me to change the whole braiding my whole head before I sleep to making a top-knot and putting on my doek (head-scarf). My pre-sleep regime is not so much of a hassle any more. I love my virgin hair. And I've discovered that so many guys are anti-natural hair. I've got nothing against weaves, I actually love them. But this hair is so beautiful and every once in a while, a girl wants to be fibre/track/thread-free. I would never date a guy who thinks I'm not beautiful when I'm rocking my natural tresses.
